My name is Jeff Higgins, and I am a passionate real estate investor with a unique journey that started in the foodservice industry. For many years, I worked as an Executive Chef, dedicating long hours on nights and weekends for relatively low pay. However, my true passion lay in working with my hands, a skill I honed from a young age under the guidance of my father.

From the time I was big enough to swing a hammer and use a measuring tape, my father taught me the intricacies of construction and repair. Together, we undertook projects such as replacing our home’s roof, installing French drains, putting upAerial photo of a neighborhood cedar shingle siding, and building a deckā€”all before I turned ten. As an adult, I continued to develop my skills by restoring my 105-year-old house, building a 550-square-foot deck, and assisting friends and family with their home projects.

My journey into real estate investment began through my handyman business. After completely rehabbing my own house and several others for clients, I realized I was on the wrong side of the equation. This realization led me to pursue my dream of becoming a real estate investor, seeking something more fulfilling for myself and my wife of 42 years.

Today, Clean Slate Enterprises LLC specializes in fix and flip projects and buy-and-hold strategies in Kansas City. As a private money broker, I offer tailored financing solutions to help other investors achieve their real estate goals.
